Task force to patrol after Packers game

A drunk driving task force, funded by a $96,000 federal grant, will host a four hour patrol following the Green Bay Packers divisional playoff game next month to stop drunk drivers.
In a trial run, officers caught six drunk drivers leaving the Packers-Raiders game earlier this month. If the Packers win, expect the task force to be out for the NFC Championship game. The Brown County task force says it has received many requests from residents to increase post-game DWI patrols.
While the Packers and the task force do not have a formal partnership, the organization has many programs to encourage safe drinking. Only two drinks can be bought per purchase and last call is in the third quarter. This season Green Bay Metro is offering free bus rides.
