An 89-year-old Wisconsin woman was left in critical condition after her vehicle was rear-ended by a semi-truck on I-90.

The accident occurred on Monday of last week at around 9:30 in the morning. The woman was traveling eastbound when a semi-truck, driven by a 44-year-old man, rear-ended her. She was taken to the hospital to be treated for life-threatening injuries.

The semi-truck was found to be carrying hazardous chemicals. A hazmat team was brought to the scene and were able to prevent the chemicals from spilling out of the truck. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.

A Wisconsin man was killed after semi-truck accident on a rural road in Nebraska.

According to officials, the man was driving down the roadway when he lost control of the truck for unknown reasons and ran off of the side of the road.

The truck then flipped over and rolled until it hit a ditch and came to a stopping point. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency officials. Details of the accident are still being investigated by police officials.
