Drunk Driver Causes Serious Injuries

A single-vehicle accident occured on Sunday in Madison, Wisconsin that left two people seriously injured.
A 26-year-old man was driving a Chevrolet Blazer near Midland Road. He suddenly lost control of the vehicle, which caused him to veer of the road and crash into a powerline pole. The man was driving with a 41-year-old passenger. Both were seriously injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The man driving the Blazer was arrested and cited for drunk driving, as well as not wearing a seatbelt while driving.
