Three teenage girls injured in one-car crash

According to Marinette County police, three teenage girls aged 14 to 16 were injured in a one-car crash that left them in serious to critical condition on Sunday.

The 16-year-old driver was traveling west on Marinette County B, east of Keller Road, when she lost control and the car spun off the road, hitting a tree. The sheriff’s department arrived on the scene around 8:35 p.m.

All three of the teenage girls were wearing seatbelts. Police believe that speeding was the leading cause in the crash and do not believe that alcohol was a factor.
