Two injured in crash

N. Richmond street was closed for around two hours last week following a possibly speeding-related crash that injured two people, according to police.

The incident occurred around noon last Monday. One person was trapped in their car after the crash just north of Northland Avenue, at the entrance to Northland Mall, while the driver of the other car suffered serious injuries.

Thankfully, the Appleton police department’s Major Accident Investigation Team, which is called when fatalities occur, was not needed.

Appleton police Sgt. Pat DeWall said that the people involved in the accident should recover.
