Van carrying students hit by pickup truck

A van accident in Spooner injured all six high school students on board when it was struck by a pickup truck on Green Valley Road and Highway 63. The van was driven by a teacher and was owned by Spooner Area Schools.

According to New Richmond News, the crash occurred as the van entered the highway. All of the students were transported to Spooner Hospital with minor injuries. They have been released since the Wednesday morning accident. The two drivers were not hurt in the collision.

At this time, authorities have not reported which driver was at fault. The Wisconsin State Patrol is still investigating the accident.
