Oklahoma family dies in Wisconsin car crash

Three Tecumseh, Oklahoma family members were tragically killed in a car crash in Wisconsin, while a fourth member survived the accident and was rushed for treatment in Wausau, Thursday, February 14.

Roy and Jenny Kato, both 34, died when their car lost traction, causing it to enter the path of an oncoming vehicle in Marathon County, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol reports.

The couple’s 13-year-old son, Joshua, also was killed in the accident. Their five-year-old daughter, Brook, was taken to the Aspirus Wausau Hospital to receive medical attention for her non-life threatening injuries.

Also injured in the accident was a 32-year-old Schofield resident, who was also rushed to Aspirus.

Suffering from the loss of loved ones is especially difficult, especially when it is unexpected. The loss of the Katos is a tragic event, and the thoughts of our team at Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. go out to all their family, friends, and loved ones.
