New leads in Appleton hit-and-run case

Police investigators recently have gotten new leads as to who the suspect might be in a hit-and-run case in Appleton, Wisconsin that injured a 19-year-old Lawrence University student on Wednesday, October 9.

Police Sergeant Dave Lund said footage from a traffic camera showed that the suspect seemed to be wearing “scrubs” and, as such, is most likely in the medical field.

Lund says the vehicle who hit the woman could possibly have a damaged front bumper on the passenger’s side, along with a dented hood, also on the passenger’s side. It is possibly a white or silver, four-door Chevrolet Impala or Malibu.
